Sladen provide coaching and facilitation services to help teams across industries achieve more from their work together.
They wanted storytelling headshots that not only communicated their professionalism but also highlighted their bold and adventurous spirit. With a team spread across 15 countries, my virtual photography experience was a valuable opportunity for Sladen to:
Gain visual consistency across their whole team and improve their feeling of belonging
Work flexibly at a time and place that suited every team member
Save time travelling or block-booking the whole team into a single photography session
How it worked.
The best thing about a virtual photography experience is that they can work for everyone no matter where they live. This was ideal for Sladen, with 65 busy team members based across the world.
After an initial conversation to understand the Sladen story, I created a calendar that allowed each team member to book a date and time that worked for them. Flexibility was key for this photography experience and so we used WhatsApp to plan the finer details of each session to ensure that communication was as smooth as possible.
On the day of each session, we connected our devices over Wifi and got to work, beginning with the headshots. I helped each person to organise their space in a way which afforded them the best natural light and then incorporated their props into the more creative storytelling headshots. It was so much fun learning about each team member’s personality and bringing this into the imagery.
