Rewild and reconnect.

Supporting the rewilding project at Jordan’s Farm.

My first visit to the farm.

When I visited Jordan’s Farm and joined Alex on one of her Walk and Talk sessions, I was blown away by her story and goal to rewild 21 acres of field, known as the ‘Outback’. By actively encouraging the growth of natural habitats in the environment, Alex is helping to heal the landscape and connect us, once more, to the natural world.

And I’m only too happy to join in.

How I’m getting involved.

It’s difficult to understand the power of Alex’s mission without seeing Jordan’s Farm and the Outback first-hand. That said, not everyone can easily travel to Essex. So, I offered to help Alex grow her impact online, through a brand photography experience that captures Jordan’s Farm and her sunflowers project through the year.

But like most initiatives, rewilding the Outback needs funding. That’s why I’m also donating a percentage of every booking to keep the project running. It’s such a great cause and something that doesn’t just benefit us, but also generation after generation too.

Why it’s worth it.

There are so many reasons to support rewilding. These include:

  • Increased local biodiversity - restoring the ecosystem and the complex web of life

  • Carbon sequestration - more trees and grassland captures more carbon

  • Better mental and physical health - access to more natural environments reduces stress and improves our mood
